Mother Advocate Finally Rests

no more wars

Actually this would be how I was AFTER I recovered from my stay at the Horsham Clinic last year, at that time I was the “core on two stilts, a face neither man now woman; and how the ALIEN4 (thats what I called him at the beginning) turned me into a flesh and blood person again.

Of interest to anyone who wants to get into this is a long poem I wrote after writing an entry in the Red Book. Alex said the first one I wrote was inappropriate. The note I put in there (into the five yearly college alumni notes) got me into huge trouble: I was out there in the milieu in a way I COULD NOT AND DID NOT WANT TO HANDLE.

The rest cannot be said because ALL OF THEM went on to live happy and successful lives, many in the spotlight. After the state hospital, they couldn’t associate with me. I am sure that it was a relief to many; I stunk that place up. I didn’t know how to take care of myself.

So, I finally published the long poem in the 25th or 30th “Red Book” in a way that was kind of a non-sequitur as I was in such a desperate state that I couldn’t have written even the shortest paragraph to keep my place.

An old friend from my high school called. She was working for the VA and was able to be so understanding. I was so ill. We kept in touch until I got out of Florida to a safer “climate” (in so many ways.)

So, here is my poem…
