she is very old
she is Lebanese and part of the government there.
we went on a trip to New York together once long ago.
she asked me to pass on a word here in America about death and how they talk about it privayely in Beirut.
i believe that this little tip could help peace talks and i am sure that that is why she asked me to pass it along. Ot, if not, it works anyway.
she said, when people die we say, the body stays but the spirit “floats” into outer space.
i am aware that she and her husband are Christian. We agreed that every Christian culture has its own “take” on certain things.
I may never see her again but it was nice of her to visit at this time.
