always with the cigarette.
for my mother: you were correct. I chose to smoke. I chose it on the playground at Salt Brook School where the cool girls went out behind the building to smoke cigatettes during free time. When i went to visit Kent, the girls who hosted me took me with them to have a cigarette. At some point I had declared to go to smoke when i went there.
Then I got out and there was no control on it (of course it was against the rules at Kent) and i burst into terrifying uncontrollable 3 pack a day SMOKING. And I was running 2 miles a day. D as a reAnd ating a chorus part in Jesus Christ Superstar. And house cleaning (didnt work out) and worked as a receptionist. My mother got me these jobs.
THEN, COLLEGE.
i was not prepared.
This vague picture of me with a cigarette depicts my soul at that time, somewhere between high school, home, and the college of my choice. But dead inside.
