I am writing to express my sorrow over the death of a former AFA student of which I have only just learned; if this information is erroneous please disregard this post. I hosted this student at my home with my son one weekend and he was such a darling. Unfortunately he became ill. I didn’t have a thermometer that worked, or rather, I didn’t know how to use the newfangled ones, I had about three of those. When I took him back to AFA he was taken immediately to the hospital. I know that ultimately he was stored to health but it took a long time and I worried terribly that I should have done SOMETHING differently from what I did.
I pray that he is in Heaven and with God and for the comfort of his family and friends. I didn’t get to know him well but he was a beautiful kid.
I know or, I guess, this must be way belated but “Jesus keeps perfect time because of Love.” I was such a mess at that time.
